A Drizzly Rain Makes For Darker Values..



Autumn Woodland    11" x 14"    o/p

Painted during and after a "drizzly rain".

My palette for this particular painting was,ultramarine blue, cerulean blue, alizarin, cad red, lemon yellow, Indian yellow and titanium white. Other colours on my palette (mainly for convenience) were cad. green, trans red oxide, yellow green, and orange.

Yes, it seems like I have been painting for a long time, now that I think about your question. :) Thirty five years have gone by quickly, ...and so many paintings left to paint !
