A Summer Memory 11" x 14" o/p
Now that autumn is here, it seems so long ago that the family spent a mid week afternoon at a nearby beach. This particular painting is a stylized piece from reference sketches and a photo.
The palette is a split palette of reds, blues and yellows. The support for this painting is a gessoed Masonite panel.
Strange, now that autumn is here and the leaves are/have turned to colour, that painting the "much hated, no choice", summer greens are not all that bad, for a change after all.
