Bellevue House..


Sir John's Side Door    10" x 12"    O/C

Sir John A. Macdonald, Canada's first Prime Minister. Lived in Bellevue House (Kingston, Ontario) from 1848 - 1849.
The home is now a National Historic Site, open to the general public.


In this photo, the buildings seen behind the home (left) are now part of the Visitor Centre
and in Sir John's day, served as the coach house.


The lawn area from which Sir John's Side Door was painted from.
