Victoria Hall

Victoria Hall, Stella, Amherst Island   10" x 12"   o/p

This piece was painted from a photo reference that I had previously taken when last I painted on the Island.

Victoria Hall is a lovely old building in a friendly, small farming community village with many quaint homes and out buildings just waiting to be painted. The whole place seems to be whispering, "Slow down, take it easy". I really do hope that I have another chance soon to revisit and paint again in this lovely village.

Again, I used my usual limited palette for this painting. Simply, ultramarine blue, cerulean blue, cad yellow med., yellow ochre, cad red med., alizarin and titanium white.
You may notice that this piece was painted on a white panel. It has been awhile !

'til next...
