Winter Dreams Of A Summer Place 10" x 12" o/p
It is that time of year again in my region. Only a week or so before the official start of 'spring'. So, as many folk head south or to a warmer climate, I am left to dream of a warmer place, perhaps a summer place.
One will not find the scene in the above painting in this snowy region. I think in my mind, it will be my spring break.
This piece was painted on a Masonite panel that had previously been covered with two coats of gesso and a coat of grey acrylic paint. The grey paint was a number five value on the grey scale.
My palette for this painting was my current limited palette with the noted changes and colours that I used for the previously posted painting.
I enjoyed doing this painting, as much as I did dreaming about a "go away" March break .
