Country Stable   ..6" x 8"   ..O/P

This little  panel seems like a small area to work on when doing plein air in the great outdoors. But, it is just the right size to fit into my ( 9" x12" ) pochade box without much trouble.
Anything smaller than 9" x 12", I apply a folded masking tape on the reverse side o f the panel and adhere it to the inside lid of the box and I am ready to start. When the painting is finished, it is easy to pull off and store in the vehicle for the trek home.

The palette for this painting also allowed me to get painting in a hurry. The colours are the leftover colours of the sprevious days' painting. It was just a case of replenishing the most used colours of the previous day. It makes no sense to waste colour if it is still pliable, IMHO.

An enjoyable little painting to paint but with it's own faults. ... Never the less...

'til next..
