Yup, I guess it could have been a piece painted in my little pochade box . Because it is such a small painting, it was executed 'alla prima'. The paint that I used for this painting was the left over paint from the previous painting.
It was fun to lay the paint down on the panel without first doing a rough layout or sketch on the panel. The old rule, if there is such a thing, a stroke layed is a stroke stayed, does apply here.
I guess that it does not come much fresher than that.
