Barn And Red Shed   ..10" x 12"   ..o/p

When we are expecting things to warm up because it is spring, here we are,  having to put up with cool, damp and windy weather. Maybe mother nature was not ready to accept our pushing for spring. We are now forced to accept her 'cold shoulder'.

This painting follows the same pattern as the previous painting as it pertains to the palette, the treatment of the gessoed panel and painting execution.

Perhaps, any warmth felt or seen in this painting is purely coincidental...

'til next...

nice painting Frank, the winter dont let the spring to come this year, as they say, if you can not change something, better adapt to it.I wish you a happy Easter, even if you have to paint with a warm coat and gloves

"Happy Easter to the Shermans"

Thanks for the compliment, Bruce.

Those winters are not getting any shorter.
I do not know about the lilacs this year. That is another continuing story...that does not seem to have an end.

Hanging in there... :-)
