Heritage Farm .. 6" x 8" ..O/P

Here we are, the second in a group of two. The same palette and procedure was followed as the previous painting.

I think that this one could be worked up larger into a good studio painting sometime during the cold winter days when it is not possible to get out. I am thinking that a 14" x 18" panel would be a good proportion to paint on for this particular composition.

So, until such a winter day arrives, I will have to hide these away.

'til next...

Hi Frank,
The immediacy of the brushwork
plus the peeking of red tone make this oil very compelling to the viewer. Really like them!

"What a perfect selection of colours for this time of year!"

I hear you but at the same time, I think one has to be selective when all before you are screaming and waving for attention.

Of course, in a couple of weeks, they will be missed. :)

Peace from the east !
