The "Winter Beater" ... 11" x 14" ..O/P

It is nice to work on a panel that is a little larger than the last few that I have painted on.
That extra inch or two makes a nice challenge, especially in the laying out of the painting prier to laying on the colour.
Many areas still had the bright fall colours of the leaves hanging on. It was a chance to do
another last fall painting.
It is hard to believe that the palette for this painting was my usual split ( warm/cool) palette.
I really thought that the orange colours would be a real fight. I will admit that I did put the tube of cad. orange in my paint box. Yes, I did use it in a few spots that needed that little extra push or attention.
It has been exciting to be able to try and paint the colours that nature presents to us at this time of the year.
'til next.

Thanks much, Vic ! Around here , If you do not want your "new car" left to the winter elements, one purchases a second old car to drive during this season. Thus, " The Winter Beater".

Take care..

Hi Carol..Nice to hear from you. Thanks for 'popping in' and commenting.
Not used to having orange from the tube . If it is not a 'favorite', it seems that I may be 'cheating' to use it. :) Got to get over that !

Hope all is well ..

I used to live in Ontario and you have caught the feeling for the little town I used to live in for this one. Great work.
