A Window To Another Place And Time

This painting is from a photo reference that I shot earlier in the fall season.
For this painting, I used my now familiar 'fall palette' and my regular limited palette. Very little medium was used during the painting process. The oil colours were applied quite dry, not unlike using a 'dry brush technique.
For the most part, the inviting fall colours of a few weeks ago have now turned to the darker, dried looking colours of late fall.
Maybe snow is not far behind.
