"..A Walk In The Park" 10" x 12" O/P

Most scenes now have lost their colour or so it seems, after witnessing the blaze of autumn. Oh, a few leaves are hanging on here and there if you hunt for them, but certainly is not the same.

This painting was done from a sketch and photo reference. My palette was the same as my "fall palette' and "my 'limited palette'. No medium was used except to clean the brush from time to time.

The photo reproduction that is viewed here does not seem to be as 'crisp' as the original painting. For that, I apologize...

The above enlargement further shows the brush work and the texture of the oil painting.

Me too, lovely those figures.
They give it intimicy, a little shame that they are so in the middle of the painting though.

Your use of color is still inspiring!
