" A County Road" 8"x 10" o/panel

Or, perhaps a better title may have been, "Still Waiting for Snow". It seems to be a long wait for the white stuff , especially when it was expected a month ago. Once the bright colours of fall give way to that "brown time" between autumn and winter , the inspirational to "get out there" seems to want some down time. In the past, the "down time" did not seem to last very long. The first snowfall always brings back the itch to paint again. So, in the meantime, I wait ...and scratch.

As the end of 2006 draws near , I would like to take this opportunity to offer everyone peace and good health in the new year...Happy New Year, Everyone!

'til next,.

Hello Frank,it´s same thing over here.. waiting for the snow. We had the warmest November and December ever with blooming roses.

I enjoy your landscape painting a lot. "County road" seems a bit of a summary of your strong development during this year.
Happy new year and all the best for you and your family.. keep on painting.

Happy New Year, Frank. Visiting your blog is always an inspiration. You have such great color and brushwork.

What are you influences? Who have you studied with? Your work reminds me a lot of Sergi Bongard. I study with Ovanes Berberian occasionally, a student of Sergi's.

Happy New Year!

So I have been growing and juicing my own wheatgrass. I very causally read the growing section of Ann Wigmores's book on growing wheatgrass and that, with my general knowledge of sprouting seeds, I figured out the relatively simple process.
