"Spring In Harrowsmith" Oil on panel, 10 inches x 12inches , with my limited palette.

This is my second painting heading into spring. Since I have been using the limited palette, I have been greying my basic three colours with the compliment of each.
In this particular painting, I thought that I would try something else , or different, for me. I put out a ribbon of grey paint. This particular grey is called, " Grey Of Grey". When mixed with a colour, it tends to mute or modify it in a similar manner as using that colour's complimentary. I feel that using the grey helps to unify the visual effect of the painting when it is completed. I can see where this"greying" is worthy of more experimenting .

..Keep well.
